If you're looking for a comprehensive, reliable, and top-notch managed WordPress hosting service, then check out our Convesio review.
This service is perfect for business owners and bloggers who want to focus on creating great content without having to worry about the technical aspects of website hosting.
In this Convesio review, we'll give you an overview of what the service is, discuss its features and benefits, outline some potential downsides, and compare it with a few other popular managed WordPress hosting services.
What Is Convesio?
Convesio is a managed WordPress hosting service that provides business owners and bloggers with all the tools they need to run an online store or blog without having to worry about the technical aspects.
It’s relatively new, having begun in 2018, but don’t let that fool you into thinking it can’t stand alongside the veterans.
The best thing about Convesio WordPress hosting it the wide and generous range of features, including unlimited storage space, bandwidth, and emails; 24/365 customer support; automatic updates for WordPress; malware scanning, removal, and more.
Next, we’ll discuss in a greater detail some of its top features.
Convesio focuses on speed, security, and stability.
It covers every aspect of your WordPress site for an experience that’s both convenient and comprehensive.
In this section, we will discuss some of these features in more detail.
Convesio reviews your WordPress site by performing load testing and checking for any issues within.
Once it’s done it’ll create a list of recommendations and send them to you, so you can start correcting issues, with Convesio’s help of course.
Convesio provides autoscaling in the truest sense. It’ll automatically scale up if you need more resources, and scale down when you don’t.
This has two major benefits.
The first is that it means you’ll be using resources optimally, and as you pay only for what you use, you’ll be saving money too.
Secondly, autoscaling naturally applies to every user on the Convesio servers, which means faster service for everyone. Convesio boasts fast speeds, and in our experience, we’ve found the claim to be true.
Each additional container will cost an extra 10% of the base price you’re paying per hour.
Smartly Designed Containers
Convesio solutions has designed its stacks to reduce bottlenecks for improved speed and efficiency.
But this isn’t their only benefit.
The components of each stack are hosted in different containers, which means if one goes down, the others still function, greatly reducing the possibility of total outages.
Such setup allows Convesio managed WordPress platform to scale up and down automatically, handling traffic influxes with ease and bypassing bottlenecks without a hiccup.
Automated admin is another great feature of Convesio, and one it likes to emphasize.
It isn’t just hype though, as it makes it simple to manage your WordPress site, even if you are not a technical person.
You can also create multiple site instances on the same Convesio server, which is great if you want to test different themes or plugins. The administrator interface is very easy to use and has a great design.
However, some users consider this a downside.
We’ll go into more detail later on in this Convesio review.
The Cloudflare integration makes it possible to protect your website against malicious attacks, as well as to improve its performance and deliver the best WordPress experience possible. It utilizes advanced caching to speed up the delivery of content to site visitors.
The Convesio CDN platform was designed with Cloudflare in mind so that it can both take advantage of Cloudflare’s tools, and avoid any conflicts or hiccups that may arise.
Cloudflare acts as the first line of defense before requests hit Convesio’s servers.
So your sites are under the protection of Cloudflare and Convesio.
Node.JS Load Balancing
The Node.JS load balancing is another great feature of Convesio.
This way multiple servers handle the load for your website.
When traffic spikes this feature comes in extremely handy.
The pay-as-you-use Convesio pricing model is a great feature for people who are new to managed WordPress hosting and don’t have the experience to know how to budget accurately.
It allows you to start using Convesio immediately by paying the flat fee. You can then upgrade your plan later on if you want to use more features or if you need more space.
We’ll go into more detail on the pricing plans later on in our Convesio review.
Along with its tools, Convesio also offers bespoke services to improve the performance of your site. Some are a part of the features we’ve already discussed.
Convesio SSL certificates are offered for free to protect your website's data. They also offer backups to ensure that your website is always safe and up-to-date. Off-site backups cost $1 per GB of data.
In addition, it provides two-factor authentication to the level you’d expect from a service of this kind.
Convesio Speed Optimization
Convesio's speed optimization ensure that your website loads quickly and that matters.
Among other things, the optimization includes compression and deferral of resources, and the Convesio team constantly monitors performance to make sure your WordPress website is performing at the best levels possible at all times.
Convesio Professional Services
The platform also offers consultations services.
If you have a specific project in mind and would either like help to implement it and/or run it, the Convesio specialists can help.
They can’t provide a price estimate because it will depend on what you want, but Convesio’s support staff is responsive, so you should be able to hash out the details quickly.
One downside to using Convesio WordPress hosting is that it can be expensive.
If you are not careful, you can quickly use up your monthly allotment of resources and wind up paying more than you expected. That’s why we advise starting small unless you’re a veteran and really know what you’re doing.
As with any managed hosting service, you are somewhat limited in terms of what you can do with your site.
Arguably the biggest limitation is the lack of multisite option, but if
Convesio Pricing Plans

Additionally, the business and enterprise plans include 24/7 support and a number of other features that are not included in the starter plan.
Let’s take a closer look at each one:
This Convesio plan is $50 a month, with 5GB of disk space, 2 vCPUs, 512MB memory, 4 workers, 50GB, and manual scaling by default. It starts at about $5 per hour. Extra add-ons such as malware cleanup are available.
The Business Convesio plan comes in three tiers—Level 2 ($150/mo), Level 3 ($300/mo), and Level 4 ($600). Each one offers 10GB of disk space, but 4/6/8 vCPU, 2/6/12GB of memory, 16/32/50 workers, 100/300/500GB of bandwidth, and autoscaling by default. Note that the 10% hourly autoscaling fee still applies.
This Convesio plan is for big businesses, and also comes in three tiers—Level 5 ($1,000/mo), Level 6 ($1,600/mo), and Level 7 ($2,400/mo). Additionally, a setup fee of $1,000 is required. It gives you 50/75/100GB of disk space, 16/20/24 vCPU, 16/24/32GB memory, a custom amount of workers, and between 750GB and 1.5TB of bandwidth. It also includes human malware cleanups, meaning actual humans thoroughly check your systems.
Convesio's support is quick to respond and helpful to users. If you want 24/7 support, you’ll have to opt for the Business or Enterprise plans.
Aside from hands-on support, there’s a Convesio blog that acts as a knowledge base to provide additional information and tips.
Support is available via email or chat for the Starter plan. Users on the Business and Enterprise plans can get support via Slack, for extensive and constant communication.
Convesio promises a response within five minutes, and in our experience, the responses were quick, but not always that quick.
All in all, it was a very positive experience.
While it is a relatively new company, it has quickly gained a following among users who appreciate its ease of use and comprehensive feature set.
While the Convesio solutions are a relative newcomer to the managed WordPress hosting scene, it faces competition from several well-established companies, including Hostgator, Bluehost, and WP Engine.
These companies offer similar features and are also popular among users who need help managing their WordPress sites.
Convesio vs Kinsta
Kinsta is a well-known managed WordPress host, and while it offers a number of features, its admin is a little trickier.
Kinsta's support is extremely well-versed in all matters WordPress and is as quick to respond and as helpful as Convesio's.
That being said, Convesio is a better option for users who have ecommerce setups with thousands of SKUs and also excels for e-learning platforms built on LifterLMS and Learndash.
On the other hand, Kinsta's plans are more affordable.
Convesio vs WP Engine
WP Engine is a veteran service in managed WordPress hosting.
Of all the Convesio competitors it is perhaps the most similar in terms of function and price. Both are excellent choices for large blogs with hundreds of thousands of daily visitors.
The only real difference we noticed is the level of control they offer. Convesio is more hands-off, which is great if you’re not too technically savvy.
On the other hand, WP Engine allows for more granular control and fine-tuning.
Ultimately your choice will come down to preference.
Luckily, both services offer similar free trials so you can test out a couple of the best WordPress hosts there are.
Convesio vs Bluehost
Bluehost is a popular host that provides managed WordPress hosting.
Bluehost’s most expensive basic managed WordPress plan is the same price as Convesio’s cheapest. That said, Bluehost is more an offering for smaller businesses or individual users.
With its SEO tools, email marketing, and social media, it’s less heavy-duty than Convesio, and more focused on online dealings, and activities supplemental to existing businesses.
We’d recommend Bluehost over Convesio only if your operation is small and doesn’t require intensive resources.
Convesio Reviews by Users
Convesio has a 4.4-star rating on Trustpilot and a 5-star rating on G2.
The majority of users seem to be happy with the service, stating that it is easy to use and has a comprehensive feature set.
However, some users have complained about the price and the “simplicity” of the service. Admittedly the costs do stack up if you’re not careful, and as we’ve said the lack of a Convesio control panel can be considered a downside.
Overall, Convesio is a well-loved provider, with one of the best WordPress hosting services for people who prefer to focus on growing their site rather than tweaking technicalities.
Do We Recommend Convesio?
If you’re looking for seamless, truly managed WordPress hosting, Convesio is arguably the best choice.

Convesio isn't free, but it does offer a free trial so that you can test it out before you take the plunge and sign up.
Both services have their pros and cons. Ultimately Convesio is easier to use, but WP Engine offers more customizability. A deeper comparison is available above.
