The inevitable happened—you permanently deleted photos from your hard drive, and you don’t know how to get them back.

Luckily, we live in the 21st century, technology has peaked to its fullest, and data recovery software can recover any erased data caused by a disk error or drive replacement.

One such software is Tenorshare, and in today’s blog post, we at Web Tribunal are going to do a full Tenorshare review.

Stay with us to see whether this software is worth it.

What Is Tenorshare?

Tenorshare is a leading software developer mostly known for its data and drive recovery software. You can use it to restore documents, music, videos, images, system files, PDF documents, and other types of files. It can also restore any type of formatted data and data lost due to a disk error or drive failure.

Although it is popular for its Android and iPhone data recovery software, Tenorshare isn’t ignoring PC users, delivering Windows and Mac versions.

How Does Tenorshare Work?

Tech enthusiasts agree on one thing in their Tenorshare reviews—it’s amazing how easy it is to get this software working.

To install the software, you need to visit Tenorshare.com and download the version you need. If you’re already familiar with the software and want to get a paid plan, choose the plan you prefer, pay, and install the software.

Once that’s done, you can choose which files you want to recover.

Here comes my favorite part of the Tenorshare review: the features.

Supported Devices

Tenorshare is considered one of the best iPhone data recovery software on the market. But Tenorshare developers thought of everyone!

There’s a Tenorshare data recovery edition for Android users too. The software is also available for download on both Windows and Mac.

Tenorshare can also recover data from HDD or SSD, SD, USB, memory card, CD, DVD, and digital camera, among others, aside from supporting these devices. Heck, it can even repair blurry or distorted photos and videos. Who needs Photoshop with tech like that?

Supported File Formats

Like most data recovery software, Tenorshare supports multiple file formats. Our research showed it works with more than 500 formats, so rest assured your file can be recovered.

Here’s a list of some of them:

  • Office documents: DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, PPT/PPTX/, HTML/HTM, TXT and so on.
  • Photo: JPG/JPEG, PNG, RAW, SWF, SVG, MRW, CR2, and many more.
  • Video: AVI, MP4, M4V, 3G2, WMV, MKV, ASF, SWF, and so on.
  • Music/Audio: MP3, AIF/AIFF/, WAV, FLAC, OGG, and others.
  • RAR/ZIP: RAR, ZIP, BZ2, ISO, TAR, WIM, GZIP, and so many more.

The software can recover all these and many more.

Scanning Options

Tenorshare has a methodical way of scanning. It’s effective, fast, and interactive—a feature that uplifts the entire experience, according to many Tenorshare reviews.

The software uses two modes of scanning: quick and deep scan. The quick mode is the default setting, and it is quite efficient. If your file isn’t restored after a quick scan, you can select the deep mode, which could take longer but will most certainly find the file you need.

Recovery Capabilities

Does Tenorshare really work, or is it just another software that scans your data without recovering it?

To answer that question, we’ll take you through the recovery process.

We found something extremely useful that is rarely mentioned by users in Tenorshare reviews: the software gives you a preview of the files.

That way, you can decide which ones you want to restore, select them, choose a recovery destination, and you’re all set. Plus, the quality of the recovered files remains the same, so you don’t have to worry about that.

The system even doubles as a backup solution for your iPhone. It would be nice to be able to integrate it directly with cloud storage, but having backups to your computer should be safe enough.

The highlight of our Tenorshare review process is the speed of this software—it is remarkable! It can scan a 63GB drive in under 4,5 minutes.

While scanning, a progress bar appears on the screen so you can see how far along you are.

Ease of Use

One of the best features of Tenorshare is how easy it is to use the software. The majority of online Tenorshare reviews are positive; users enjoy the entire experience!

The complete installation takes only a minute.

The design is simple yet elegant, allowing people with all levels of experience to use it with ease. There are two available scanning modes—quick and deep. You can choose whether the software should scan all of your data or one specific folder.

The quick scan really lives up to its name - it gets the job done in less than two minutes.

The software offers some great utility features that make your life easier. For example, after the software scans your device, you can preview the files it found and decide which ones you want to recover.

The process is relatively quick and very efficient.

Tenorshare Free vs Premium

Tenorshare offers both free and paid plans for its users—you’ll be able to recover deleted files for free

The plans offered for Mac, Windows, Android, and iPhone users vary. The information provided on the Tenorshare website is not very detailed, but we can give you an overview of the main differences between the plans.

iPhone Data Recovery
$45.95/month, $49.95/year, or $59.95/lifetime

All plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee and can be used on up to five mobile devices and one Mac (macOS 10.9 or later versions). iPhone and Mac users can download the software for free. It allows you to check the interface and preview lost data. Should you decide to restore it, you’d have to purchase a license.

Mac Data Recovery Plans
$55.95/month, $59.95/year, or $69.95/lifetime

Mac data recovery is available for the same prices and with the same benefits as the iPhone plans. The only exception is that with the Mac plans, you can use the tool on a single device, so if you’re thinking of buying the data recovery software for Mac, you might want to consider buying one of the Tenorshare iPhone plans instead. A free version of the software is available for macOS 10.10 to preview the lost data.

Android Data Recovery Plans
$35.95/month, $39.95/year, or $49.95/lifetime

The paid Tenorshare data recovery plans for Android come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. With these plans, you can use the software on up to five Android phones and one PC (with Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP). Once again, the free version of the software is useful for previewing lost data.

Windows Data Recovery Plans
$45.95/month, $55.95/year, or $65.95/lifetime

With the free edition, you can recover up to 100MB of data from formatted systems or BitLocker Encrypted Drive. All three plans for Windows offer unlimited data recovery but for different types of data. You can check the website to see exactly what is included in each plan.

Our Tenorshare review showed that its support is excellent.

Most of the user’s questions are covered on the FAQ page of its website. There, you can find information about Tenorshare products, how to get the registration code, and how to fix problems with your order. For each product Tenorshare offers, there’s a specific section on the page that’ll answer all of your questions.

If you can’t find your answer there, you can contact the agents in the support center. You can describe the nature of your problem in the contact form included on the website.

Afterward, you’ll receive a confirmation email that your ticket is being processed, and you’ll get an answer within 24-48 hours.

We received ours in less than 24 hours!

Tenorshare User Reviews

After reading many Tenorshare data recovery reviews, we can say with certainty that most users love it.

A common issue with data recovery software is that it impacts the performance of the PC. But Tenorshare doesn’t slow down the device it is used on.

According to reviews on Trustpilot and other sites, users like Tenorshare because of its simple interface, speed, and price.

The only complaints come from iPhone users. Although Tenorshare offers multiple services and software specifically for iOS users, some of them reported losing data after installing the software.

Other complaints related to the Tenorshare refund policy were that some people didn’t receive their money back.

The vast majority of user-generated reviews praise Tenorshare for its reliability and smooth operation.

Is Tenorshare Worth It?

Tenorshare is best for beginners that have trouble finding comprehensive data recovery software with a free edition. It’s also a good choice if you want to restore files from your phone, as it offers quality solutions for mobile data recovery, especially for iOS users.

Tenorshare Alternatives

The data recovery software industry is very competitive—RecoverIT and CCleaner certainly are worth a mention—and we'll compare Tenorshare with some of the most popular tools on the market.

Tenorshare vs EaseUS

This Tenorshare review got us thinking: is there other software on the market that seems to be as good as Tenorshare? The competitor that stands out the most is EaseUS. It offers a palette of products for both Windows and Mac users, as well as easy iPhone and Android recovery.

The only thing that differentiates them is the price, and that’s where Tenorshare wins.

Both companies offer free versions of the software, but Tenorshare offers high-quality plans for affordable prices, unlike EaseUS.

Tenorshare vs PhoneRescue

PhoneRescue is a data recovery tool that offers products for Windows, Android, and iOS devices. Both companies offer their products in multiple languages, so choosing the better one comes down to the user’s own preference.

The main difference is that PhoneRescue supports only 31 file types, while Tenorshare can recover more than 500 different types of files.

Final Verdict

Tenorshare is one of the best data recovery software for 2022!

It is user-friendly, fast, and effective, and it offers a preview of restored files. It has multiple plans for Windows, Mac, iPhone, and Android users, so you can be sure that you’ll find something to suit your needs.

Although some users complained about its refund policy and reported issues with lost data, in our research for this detailed Tenorshare review, we contacted its 24/7 customer support several times. We always got a swift resolution from polite and knowledgeable agents, while the detailed knowledge base with most problems.

All in all, we highly recommend it.

ReiBoot is a scam. They say on their website that they will refund you if it doesn't work. Guess what? It doesn't work, and no refund.

I think they’re aweful! Really expensive and didn’t fix my problem. I had two iPads I needed help with and they couldn’t. No refund given either so total waste of my time and money. Asked over and over nicely for a refund and they basically rude about it.

REIBoot turned my iPad into an expensive paperweight. It wouldn't even recognize when it was plugged into a computer after using the program. I've tried for multiple days to request a refund, as the website states "30-Day Money Back Guarantee" and I just keep getting told to try another action... which I can't since the iPad won't connect to a computer anymore. Then, I learned that my one-month purchase was actually a subscription! It's a scam!

I can recommend an alternative called TunesKit. It is a mighty and professional unlocking tool that allows you to unlock disabled iPhone/iPad/iPod touch, factory reset iOS devices, or unlock iPhone with a broken screen.

I have recently been a customer and must say, this has been a pathetic experience so far. They are just sitting there looting people's money. After using there product to reset my iphone 12 pro, it crashed and had had hardware issues. I had to spend more money to get it repaired and Tenorshare provided zero support so far and being ignorant about this. Their customer service is so poor and pathetic. I would request you to save your money and go for the directly technical support to your nearest place. Do not loose your money on this
